- Tuning in : talk about pictures. Students will print out pictures of Surabaya’s past and present architecture, identify the changes and state opinions about whether places are well-preserved or not.
- Finding out : research the internet to find the reasons for, and effects of, change (possibly interview the owner or workers who have information).
- Sorting Out : create a web organizer (flow chart) to show the information gathered on Surabaya’s old architecture from past until now.
